This is a position for someone who is passionate about helping to make a person’s life easier and more organised for the value and peace of mind it provides on a regular bases. It is also for someone who understands the pain and heartache one goes through then they have to rummage through a loved one’s belongs to find documentation required by the executor to wind up an estate, when all they want to do is to be free to mourn in peace.

You will be highly experienced in selling and closing deals – but not pushy! You will make the product so exciting and necessary that everyone wants to have it. You will be selling our File of Life portfolios. These are portfolios covering all the important information and documents in a person’s life, from finance, to legal, to family and pets, passwords, residence, vehicles – you name it. It provides one place to store, access and edit documentation which helps one’s life to run smoothly and contains all the information an executor will need to wind up an estate when a person dies. Portfolios are emailed for people to store on their own computers or print and file.

The product is in English so you will be selling it to those who are proficient in English anywhere in the world. The currency is in South African Rands but obviously buyers have prices converted to their own currencies when conducting transactions and the good news is that the SA Rand is of such low value that if you are selling from the USA or Europe, our products become inexpensive and highly affordable.

You will source your own leads and also be given leads. You will largely meet with people over the phone or the internet via platforms such as zoom but you will also need to physically visit local companies in your area as well.

* You are authentic and have sound moral values

* You have excellent verbal and written communication skills in English as the product is written in English

* Have at least 5 years of experience in selling (preferably insurance policies) and a proven track record you can show us

* You are organised and pay attention to detail

* You have excellent administration skills and are experienced in programmes such as Microsoft Word and excel.

* You are emotionally stable and well balanced

* You are respectful and polite to all

* You are honest and trustworthy

* You are presentable in appearance

* You are self-motivated and action orientated

* You think on your feet and out of the box which means you turn objections into selling opportunities

* You have completed sales and communication training courses

* You are very good at generating sales through social media platforms

* You are experienced in doing presentations on platform like zoom

* You are great at following up (it can take up to 8 times that you communicate with a person before they buy)

* You are comfortable dealing with company owners and mangers – i.e top level decision makers. Your will need to provide proof of experience in this area

* You agree to record your phone and face-to-face meetings and internet presentations for a few months so that we can help you with any problem areas which arise

* You are hardworking and do not cut corners.

* You are fully committed to your work and in it for the long haul

* You have your own transport

You will be required to work 5 days a week a full 8 hours each day,  excluding lunch and tea breaks and dealing with your own personal emails and issues. If you only wish to work in the morning or afternoon or for a certain number of days in the week, we will see if we can accommodate you.

Your home is set up so that when you are working, there are no interruptions from family, friends, visitors or barking dogs, and children running around making a noise.

The position is initially purely commission based but this will be revised after three months depending on how much you bring in, in sales. We will contribute towards your costs to drive to companies in your area.
